Province House Building Halifax, Nova Scotia

The Province House, which opened in 1819, is Canada's oldest legislative building and home to the country's first elected House of Assembly. Province House, located in downtown Halifax, was built on the original site of the colony of Nova Scotia's first governor's residence in Halifax. It is Canada's oldest legislative building and has been described as the country's finest example of Palladian architecture by some.

Palladian architecture is known for its symmetrical stateliness, classical elements, and grand appearance. Corinthian columns, for example, are frequently seen supporting open structures or porticos. This style emphasizes symmetry, with each half of a building mirroring the other.

I hung this next to my desk, and the matte finish keeps reflections off the print so the Province House details are always clear. The limited-edition number on the back feels like a nice touch.

Abigail ★★★★★

The texture of the paper has a nice matte finish that makes the historic stonework feel almost tactile, and the limited run of 10 adds a special weight to owning it. I hung it above my desk and keep catching myself staring at the details of the 1819 facade.

Victoria ★★★★★

The print perfectly captures the intricate stonework and historic charm of Province House. The limited edition aspect makes it feel like a true collector's piece. I'm glad I grabbed one before they were gone.
