Conch bar caverns in Middle Caicos.
A rare look inside the extremely secluded Conch Bar Caves, which can be found in the town of Conch Bar on the island of Middle Caicos. One of the largest cave systems in the Caribbean region is located within this park, which safeguards its 15 miles of underground caves. Many of them have colonies of bats, and some even have lagoons, stalactites, and stalagmites. This location includes the aboveground area that covers and surrounds the Conch Bar Cave System and the Conch Bar Cave System itself. Village Hill and several ponds are located in the vicinity of this region. It is a karst cave system that is home to unique species of wildlife and flora only found in caves, such as bats, crabs, and isopods. Rare plant and animal populations are maintained in the area that is above ground.
