Dumb Egg Wall Art on Textured Wall Havana | Limited Edition of 10
Category: Posters, Prints, & Visual Artwork
In the heart of Havana's bustling streets, amidst the faded grandeur of colonial architecture, a whimsical image catches the eye. A cartoon bird, rendered on the wall in bold black lines, rests peacefully on a crumbling cement wall. The bird is sleeping, its eyes closed and its wings tucked in. Above its head, a dream bubble depicts a broken egg, symbolizing vulnerability and fragility.
A funny math equation catches the viewer off guard in the corner of the image: 2+2=5, a statement of deliberate absurdity. The backdrop of the artwork is a weathered metal crated window covered with wood from behind. The simplicity of the street art cartoon bird's form contrasts starkly with the complex layers of meaning conveyed by the image. It's a stunning example of urban Havana's vibrant street art culture, a testament to its resilience and creative spirit.
