Interior View of 1947 Cadillac Steering Wheel | Limited Edition of 10

Elegant Steering Detail from a Postwar Cadillac Interior

Step inside the understated luxury of postwar America. This black and white fine art print captures the interior of a 1947 Cadillac, a moment preserved from a time when every knob, dial, and stitch had intention. The focal point is the wide, white steering wheel, wrapped around a chromed horn ring emblazoned with the Cadillac crest—ornament and function merged in one proud gesture of design.

I came across this vehicle during a classic car showcase, where it sat quietly, polished and patient. Something about the dash layout and column shifter took me straight back to a time I never lived in—but could instantly feel. The dashboard, with its soft grid lines and analog elegance, radiates a kind of craftsmanship you don’t see anymore. No screens. No distractions. Just motion, metal, and the hum of the open road.

Photographed from the driver’s side window, the composition invites the viewer in. Not to drive, necessarily—but to remember. The lighting is soft, the detail sharp, and the mood is soaked in time. It’s a print that doesn’t shout; it whispers. And those who know—know.

This is real photography, taken on location. No software fakery. No AI facsimiles. Just a real Cadillac, shot as it stood. Signed and printed by hand, like all my work.
