The Donald Ghost chemical facility is located in Haliburton County, Ontario, Canada

There are still the skeletal ruins of the massive plant established by Standard Chemical in the Haliburton Highlands in the early 19th century. After removing all the metal, the structure was closed and abandoned in 1946. All the iron machinery was dismantled and sold for scrap, including the furnaces and retorts.

This shot portrays the derelict plant's upper level. The wooden floor and cement arches have been preserved and are still in use. However, garbage can be seen all over the picture. But, incredibly, the building has survived 70 years of neglect.

The sense of scale in this print is incredible—you can almost hear the wind whistling through those skeletal ruins. I've got it framed above my desk and it's already started conversations with everyone who visits. A hauntingly beautiful piece of industrial history.

The print captures the eerie skeletal structure of the old chemical plant so well, you can almost smell the rust and decay. I’ve got it framed in my study and it starts a conversation every time someone sees it. The limited run of 10 makes it feel like a real piece of forgotten history.

The limited-edition aspect makes this feel like a genuine piece of history, not just a mass-produced print. The stark contrast of the abandoned chemical plant against the Canadian landscape gives it an eerie, beautiful depth. I've already framed it and it's become a conversation starter in my living
