Overlooking the St Lawrence in Quebec | Limited Edition of 10

As I gazed out over the St. Lawrence Seaway in Quebec, Canada, I was drawn to a serene scene: three empty lawn chairs nestled among flowers on the grassy shore, inviting quiet contemplation. This black and white photograph captures the tranquility and natural beauty of the landscape, evoking a sense of peace and solitude that lingers in the viewer's mind.

The St. Lawrence Seaway, a vital waterway connecting the Great Lakes to the Atlantic Ocean, is celebrated for its breathtaking scenery and rich maritime history. This particular shoreline, with its lush grass and vibrant flowers, offers a picturesque vantage point for admiring the expansive seaway. The three empty lawn chairs, facing the water, symbolize the simple pleasures of leisurely days spent by the water's edge.

The monochromatic palette of the photograph serves to heighten the contrast between the landscape and the man-made elements within the scene, emphasizing the harmonious coexistence of nature and human presence. The composition, with its focus on the lawn chairs as the central subjects, encourages the viewer to imagine themselves in this idyllic setting, basking in the beauty and tranquility of the moment. The interplay of light and shadow adds depth and dimension to the image, further enhancing its evocative atmosphere.
