As I journeyed along the iconic Route 66, the nostalgic aura of Roy's Motel and Cafe in Amboy, California, caught my breath. Standing as a relic of a bygone era, the quaint establishment whispered tales of the golden age of American road trips. The iconic sign of Roy’s, with its vintage design, was a warm invitation into a slice of history nestled amidst the vast expanses of the Californian desert.
