Rundown Havana Harbor front building Cuba | Limited Edition of 10

Weathered Cuban Architecture Facing the Havana Waterfront

This wall art print captures a weathered façade along Havana’s harbour front—once grand, now cracked, faded, and quietly beautiful. The building’s face is a mix of soft pastel and peeling paint, with arched windows, flaking shutters, and rusted iron railings that have seen better decades. And yet, nothing about it feels abandoned. It still stands. Still faces the water. Still carries that unmistakable Havana charm.

What caught my eye wasn’t just the decay—it was the balance. The symmetry is imperfect but intentional. The sea air has left its mark, and the tropical light brings out every surface flaw like brushstrokes on a canvas. It’s the kind of detail that feels lived-in, not forgotten.

There’s no drama in the framing—just a straight-on architectural view, stripped of distraction. It’s quiet, observant, and honest. This isn’t about nostalgia or ruin. It’s about what happens when buildings age with the city around them. Havana doesn’t hide its age, and that’s part of its character.

As wall art, this piece brings history and texture into a space. It works well in rooms that embrace architectural elements, layered materials, or earthy tones. Ideal for collectors of urban scenes, travellers drawn to Cuba, or anyone who appreciates real-world colour and structure.

Captured on location and printed by hand in my studio, this image is part of the Havana Photography Collection—a series dedicated to the quiet strength of real streets and buildings that keep standing, long after their shine has faded.
