The matte finish on this print really lets the gnarled bark texture pop, and the composition makes you feel like you're standing on that riverbank with it. I've caught myself staring at the way that tree clings to the rock for a full five minutes at a time since it arrived.

I hung this in my study and the way the roots grip the rock feels almost three-dimensional in person. The print itself has a nice matte finish that doesn't glare under my desk lamp.

The 20"x16" print captures every crack in the rock and twist of the bark so clearly you can almost feel the damp forest air. It took me right back to hiking those Haliburton trails, and I keep noticing new details in the texture each time I walk past it on my wall.
